Raymond D. Dragann, DO
Dr. Dragann is a native of the Philadelphia area, where he completed both his undergraduate and medical education. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Joseph’s University and then received his Doctorate degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). Dr. Dragann then completed a one year internship followed by a one year residency in general surgery, both at Community Hospital of Lancaster. Thereafter, he completed his five year orthopedic surgery residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA including a year of pediatric orthopedic surgery residency at Alfred I. Dupont Institute in Wilmington, DE.
While in practice, Dr. Dragann spent an extended period of time training at Philadelphia Hand Center where he had the opportunity to work with highly-skilled upper extremity surgeons who are on the cutting edge of hand and elbow surgery.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Dragann is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Association For Hand Surgery and Mid-Atlantic Shoulder and Elbow Society, Lancaster Osteopathic Medical Society, Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Lancaster City & County Medical Society.
Dr. Dragann specializes in the treatment of patients with hand, elbow, shoulder, and knee disorders. He performs a wide variety of surgical procedures, including arthroscopic surgery of the wrist, shoulder and knee, along with joint replacement of the shoulder and knee.
