The X-ray and Bone Mineral Density (BMD) suites are staffed by registered Radiologic Technologists and are available for x-rays and bone density scans during our regular office hours.

We treat patients at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster General Health Campus, Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Ephrata Community Hospital and the Health South Surgery Center of Lancaster.

We share a desire to rehabilitate employees and return them to productive activity. Our philosophy continues to be one which will provide employees with the highest quality of orthopedic care. Our Occupational Health Nurse liaison will be accessible by phone for consultations. She will enhance communications and facilitate the timely delivery of care to employees. The nurse and a physician will be available, by request, for on-site consultations.

Some diagnostic testing is performed at facilities outside the Lancaster Orthopedic Group. These testing facilities are very reliable and generally have test results sent to our office within 48 hours of your exam.
Upon receipt of these results, the nurses will review them with the doctor. The doctor will discuss your test results with you at the time of your return office visit. The only exception to this is if the doctor feels your results should be discussed prior to your return office visit. Should this be the case, either the doctor or one of the nurses will contact you to discuss the test findings.
Our office has developed this policy in an effort to maximize patient confidentiality. Our nurses have been instructed not to discuss test results over the phone unless directed to do so by a physician, so please wait until your follow-up visit to obtain your test results.
