Sports medicine is a specialized branch of orthopedic care. Athletes and exercise participants require certain considerations with the management of their injuries. Our physicians are well-versed in all phases of sports injuries, prevention, and care.
The number of trauma-related injuries occurring each year is increasing in this country. As with most illnesses, the initial treatment and subsequent management are of the utmost importance. Our physicians are qualified to participate in emergency and trauma calls at Lancaster General, Lancaster Regional Medical Center, and Ephrata Community Hospital.
