Dr. Kuntz grew up in Lancaster and graduated from Hempfield High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown and went on to Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia for his M.D. degree. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and then completed his fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Kuntz is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society.
Dr. Kuntz has a special interest in surgery of the hand, wrist, and elbow as well as fracture care. He participates in the residents' training program at Lancaster General Hospital.
