For your convenience, we have a separate telephone line for matters
pertaining to billing and insurance. The number is (717) 560-4140.
Our fee schedule is one that we consider to be both competitive and
reasonable. The personnel in our insurance and billing departments would
be happy to answer any specific questions you may have regarding charges
for your care. If necessary, they will meet with you to set up a flexible
payment plan that can meet your particular needs. At the time of your
initial office visit, please bring all insurance information, cards,
forms, etc., provided by your carrier and be prepared to pay the co-pay
portion of your bill. Our office participates with Medicare. Our office
personnel will complete and submit insurance forms after each office
visit.
However, as the patient, you are financially responsible for all
charges, whether or not they are to be paid by insurance. You are also required
to pay for the initial office visit portion of your bill at the time of
service. Emergencies and special situations may be exceptions. For your
convenience, we accept Master Card and Visa. Statements will be mailed
each month to keep you informed of the status of your bill. Call the
billing department at (717)- 560-4140 with any questions you have
regarding these statements. We will be happy to set up a payment plan for
you, should this be necessary.
Requests for second opinions are normal and in some cases required by
an insurance company. If you would like a second opinion, we encourage
you to seek one. We can expedite the process by setting up the
appointment and making the necessary test results and records available
to you.

In response to requests from insurance companies and third party payors,
Lancaster Orthopedic Group has established a fee schedule for
non-operative treatment of fractures. This fee is determined by
evaluating several factors which include: the type and severity of the
fracture, the usual length of fracture healing, and the risk of any
future orthopedic problems associated with that particular fracture.
The fracture care fee includes the application and removal of the
first cast or traction device only. Subsequent replacement of cast or
traction device may require an additional charge.
